Spasmodic reaction of nervous origin

Phyto J.S.E. is primarily indicated to soothe spasms originating from the nervous system. Its antispasmodic actions also extend to musculoskeletal, cardiac, and digestive systems. Making it beneficial for intestinal spasms, cramps (spasm of digestion), and insomnia (spasm of brain waves).

Historically, spasm is believed to originate from a disconnect between heaven and earth. Silver Linden and Juniper trees ground the head and body (“reconnect”).

Silver Linden has an affinity for the nervous system, acting as a nervous system detoxifier. It has antispasmodic action and is traditionally used for epilepsy in children, a type of spasm of the neuronal system. Silver linden is well indicated in pediatric groups.

Liver function directly influences the function of the brain. There is a link between spasms and liver health. In the most extreme example, hepatic encephalopathy leads to brain oedema leading to severe neurological manifestations. Muscle spasms are also frequent in individuals with cirrhosis and are believed to be linked to cirrhotic-stage liver disease. Strong links also exist between liver pathology and spastic paraparesis.

Juniper, through its liver-draining action, provides antispasmodic action as well.

The English Holly is indicated as an anti-epileptic, increasing electrical malfunction on the dura mater and reducing storms in the brain. Note that the dura protects the brain and spinal cord. It is responsible for draining blood and spinal fluid coming from the nervous tissue.
